Christmas at Bewl Water

Bring the whole family to enjoy Christmas at Bewl Water in the heart of this enchanted woodland in Kent and Sussex.
Explore brand-new experiences for 2024, including The Elf Hunt and magical UV Elf Portal, and meet even more Christmas characters as Santa Claus returns for another private grotto visit!
A Magical Christmas at Drusillas
23 November to 23 December
Drusillas turns into a festive wonderland every Christmas.
Meet Santa snuggled in his cosy cottage, join in with jolly singing reindeer or stroll through twinkling decorations. Marvel at a spectacular 24ft Christmas tree and spend time under the tree’s glistening lights. Finally play hide and seek in the Christmas tree forest and take a photo under the Tunnel of Lights as you get into the festive spirit!
Santa’s Magical Elevator Experience, Eastbourne
27 November to 24 December
This Christmas you can fly to the North Pole and visit Father Christmas by taking a ride in Santa’s magical flying elevator.
This unique experience will take you on a journey like no other allowing you to see the beautiful snowy landscapes of the North Pole and meet Santa himself in his workshop.
The Snowman™ at Sheffield Park and Garden
30 November 2024 to 12 January 2025
Families are invited on a festive walk, re-living the magic of Raymond Briggs’ heart-warming picture book.
Look out for twelve decorated sculptures of The Snowman™ along a winding wintry path, past beautiful lakes and trees. Games and activities add to the festive fun, then warm up with hot chocolate and mince pies in the cafe.
On 7, 14 & 21 December The Snowman™ will be making personal appearances at intervals throughout the day, perfect for family photos.
Illuminated Abbey, Battle Abbey, Battle
3 to 8 December
See Battle Abbey in a whole new light this festive season.
This December, Battle Abbey and the 1066 story will be brought to life by a dazzling array of illuminations and characters from the past.
Follow the trail through the ruins and across the grounds as lights and sounds carry you back to winter 1066. Discover how events unfolded after the battle as you thread your way through ancient architecture, peep into the shadows and take in the luminous displays.
