Despite pride month being in June, many pride events take place later in the summer. So whether you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or want to show your support as an ally, here are some upcoming events to get involved with!

 

Seaford and Newhaven

Seahaven Pride and Family Festival is celebrating LGBTQ+ diversity on 27 August 2022 at the Martello fields.

Eastbourne

This year Eastbourne Pride takes place at Princes Park on 29 July 2023, 12 – 10 pm, promising to bring “the town alive with glitter, glam and queerness.”

Hastings

Hastings is hosting both a parade and pride festival in August!
 
The celebrations for Hastings Pride will take place on 27 August 2023. The parade is starting at The Stade at 11 am and the festival will begin at 12 pm at The Oval.
This year, Hastings will also hold it’s first official Trans Pride from 22 – 29 July, across Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill. There will be a range of exciting events including a beach picnic, banner making and a tattoo flash day.
 

Brighton

Brighton Pride is iconic and considered to be one of the best pride festivals out there. Take to the streets to watch the iconic parade or attend one of the many events planned from the village party in Kemp Town to the dog show! If you are keen to attend an event, make sure you book your tickets online asap.
 
Brighton Pride runs from 4 – 7 August 2023.
