Young Carers Play in a Day

Carers Week is taking place on 7th–13th June 2021 and celebrates and recognises the vital contribution made by the UK’s 6.5 million unpaid carers – over 69,000 in East Sussex. This year’s focus is ‘Making Caring Visible and Valued’. There are lots of way to get involved, and a bumper itinerary of free events, activities and carers groups are taking place during the week and throughout June, so don’t miss out!
Young Carers Play in a Day, 4th June
Young Carers can join a fun Play in a Day workshop with drama, dancing, creativity and lots of laughter! The day will create a short film to raise awareness of young carers. Friday 4th June 2021 11am-3pm in Bexhill. Lunch is included. Free.  Go to the Care for the Carers website for more details and to book your place.
