For Mental Health Awareness Week this May, East Sussex Libraries are thrilled to be hosting our first ever Wellbeing Weekend, 14th-15th May.
We’re running online events all weekend from creative writing to rambling to yoga to help you support your wellbeing. There will also be lots of advice, activities and wellbeing tips on our webpage for the whole of May.
Words for Wellbeing. This workshop explores the restorative wonder of nature and the sun through a mix of poems, images and sounds. Participants will be invited to respond in writing to creative prompts. Expressive and creative writing can help bring about a sense of wellbeing by releasing our thoughts onto the page and connecting with others in a supportive setting.
You don’t need to be a writer to attend. Just bring a pen, notebook and curiosity.
