Sussex Universe is the free public lecture series from the Schools of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and Life Sciences at the University of Sussex.
The lectures cover a range of topics across the research carried out in both schools including astronomy, quantum technology, experimental and theoretical particle physics, mathematics, and materials science.
Normally, lectures are held on the first Thursday of the month on the University of Sussex campus. However during the current situation lectures will be exclusively online (though with increased frequency). Lectures will typically go online on our YouTube channel at the usual time of 7pm, and there will be a live Q&A after the talk with the speaker, via Zoom when the lecture finishes (around 7.30pm). The Zoom link for the live Q&A can be found with the details of each talk.
