The Reading Agency and libraries are excited to introduce Wild World Heroes, Summer Reading Challenge 2021.  A celebration of nature and action for the environment, in partnership with WWF UK.
The summer Reading Challenge is a national scheme produced by The Reading agency and delivered by public libraries across the country each year. It is aimed at primary aged children.
We deliver the Challenge in East Sussex libraries every year through our 17 branches. This year, the Challenge will be starting on 17th July and ending on 11th September.  Find your local library.
Children can read any 6 library books they like to complete the Challenge, including e-books, e-audio books and regular audio books, all free to borrow from our libraries and e-lending platform. They do not have to be able to read independently to take part. They can listen to books or share them with a friend or family member. It is free to join the library and free to sign up to the Challenge.
Visit our library webpage for more information and keep checking out libraries Events page and ESCIS for fun activities in our libraries over the summer.
