This is an opportunity to support volunteers from Bexhill in Bloom to revitalise the Sensory Garden while learning about horticulture.
Tasks will include weeding, planting, identifying plants, contributing towards the planting plan
We will be using a variety of gardening hand tools as required, which will be provided.
These sessions are suitable for those with mobility issues as the space is accessible and there are opportunities to undertake seated tasks with plenty of rest as needed.
There is an accessible toilet and café close by.
This is accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.
Gardening gloves will be useful if you have them.
Tough shoes [ideally steel toe-capped boots] and trousers are also useful, and something to kneel on may be useful
We will provide tools and additional gardening gloves, which will be disinfected according to Covid guidance.
Activity Leader: Abigail Ross.
