Mid-Sussex Franco-British Society – October Meeting

Change of programme.  Due to his indisposition and covid regulations, Dr Bernard Sasso sends his apologies for his inability to give his planned presentation.  Instead, there will be a showing of the film LE CHÂTEAU DE MA MÊRE (in French with English sub-titles).
An adaptation of the second volume of filmmaker Marcel Pagnol’s memoirs. A 10-year old Pagnol and his family return to their country villa for Christmas and renew acquaintances. Back in town, Marcel takes special classes to prepare for the lycée, and on an Easter visit to the country, he falls in love for the first time.

The annual Society membership fee is £20, payable in September. Visitor’s fee is £5 and students £2 per evening, payable at meetings.
