Join the Fun Palaces team for an online workshop, and find out how you could make a TINY Fun Palace this October!

Fun Palaces is an ongoing campaign for community at the heart of culture and culture at the heart of every community – led by and for that community.

Held on the first weekend of October each year, Fun Palaces usually have anything from 20 to 2000 participants. This year, in response to Covid-19, we are encouraging extra-small, hyper-local Fun Palaces on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th October 2020.
It could be a shared creation made by three neighbours along a wall, a seed swap in your street, a drumming lesson from a balcony window, six people socially-distanced in a park teaching each other a 45-minute dance or yoga sequence, a neighbourhood co-writing a story in chalk on the pavement. Whatever it turns out to be, at the heart of it a Fun Palace is about sharing skills, including people, and making connections – no matter how tiny!
Join our workshops!
If you’re interested in making a Tiny Fun Palace in your community, the Fun Palaces team will be hosting 90-minute Zoom workshops on Tuesdays through September. Come and find out more, share ideas, and meet other Fun Palace Makers.
You don’t need to be an expert in anything to make a Fun Palace – you just need to want to make something happen (however tiny) with and for the people that live around you.
