Cheltenham Preview Raceday

We love our Monday fixture on Cheltenham week and alongside our six fantastic races, you can join Colin Brown at 11.45am in the Mayo Wynne Baxter Marquee for a Cheltenham Preview to get you set up for the week ahead. He’ll be joined by some of the leading jockeys and trainers who are racing here on the day, and they’ll give you some valuable insight into their runners and riders as well as some opinions on the big races. We’ll have representatives from our sponsors too, with Goodwin Racing giving us their thoughts and liabilities on the races (and some price boosts!) as well as Abigail Moses from our main sponsors Betting.Bet telling you where the value offers lie for your best offers during the week.
We also offer a special package at this fixture and for just £23 (only available in advance), you can get The Plumpton Package. Included is Grandstand & Paddock admission, racecard, pie or stew and then a pint, glass of wine or soft drink (redeemable in the Marquee).
Of course, we have our own cracking races too and our feature is the Class 3 Free Bets At Betting.Bet Handicap Hurdle. Open to horses rated between 0-130, this £16k contest is run over 3m1f and was last year won by the Lucy Wadham-trained Trincomalee. Elsewhere we have a Novices’ Hurdle for the future stars of National Hunt Racing, plus a Mares’ Handicap Hurdle worth £13k.
