Cadets – social skills group for children with ASC

Cadets is our social competency group for children aged between 4-6.  This is a Saturday morning club during term time: based in Portslade Library.  Our next term starts on the 24th April and will run for 6 weeks. At Cadets we strive to create a nurturing and fun filled environment, focusing on specific target areas that will enable children to overcome barriers to learning, develop social skills, make friends and have fun!

What we do:
– Teach social skills in a fun environment
– Help children who might feel left out by other social groups have a place to learn and make friends
– Nurture children to develop skills they need to thrive in school
– Provide small group and high staff ratio
– Covid safe practices are in place
