Eastbourne Triathlon Festival, Eastbourne, 8 June
The award-winning triathlon festival offers Swim Bike Run events for everyone from first‑timers to the pros.
Athletes of all abilities and experience, from novice to elite, can sign up to take on the triathlon challenge.
Starting from the lifeguard’s beach, triathletes will take on an iconic route. Participants will swim against the backdrop of the historic Eastbourne pier, cycle the roads through the South Downs National Park via Beachy Head and run on the iconic promenade to Holywell, before finishing on the Western Lawns.
Sussex Craft Week 2025, Sussex wide, 14 to 22 June
This new festival celebrates Sussex’s place as the hub of contemporary craft revival, and the home of heritage craft.
It will be held in venues across East and West Sussex including Ditching Museum of Art + Craft, Marine Workshops Newhaven, Towner Eastbourne and Hastings Contemporary.
Sussex Craft Week is an inspiring showcase of the vibrant contemporary craft scene. The festival features a series of exhibitions, craft courses, tours, demonstrations and open studios. It provides a chance for visitors to discover and engage with local crafts and find out about Sussex makers.
Senlac St Leonards Classic Car Show, Rye, 15 June
The ever popular Rotary Club of Senlac Classic Car Show and Country Fayre returns to Rye Rugby Club on 15 June from 10am to 5pm.
With over 300 classic cars to view plus entertainment, children’s rides and craft stalls there is something for everyone.
Northiam Midsummer Festival, Northiam, 21 June

Lexus Eastbourne Open, Eastbourne, 21 to 28 June
June will see Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park open its doors once again to the Lexus Eastbourne Open tennis tournament. The event will showcase some of the world’s finest female tennis talent as well as the men from the ATP tour as they prepare for Wimbledon.

Story Maps Exhibition, presented by Figment Arts, Newhaven, 24 June to 5 July
Figment Arts is a community arts organisation supporting neurodivergent and learning disabled artists. Story Maps is their latest collaboration with Newhaven Museum.
The exhibition reimagining Sussex folklore through individual and collaborative work made in pop up studios with the public.
Over the past year, the artists have immersed themselves in local communities – exploring museum collections, gathering oral histories, taking field trips, singing songs and meeting with residents to uncover the untold stories of the region.
The Tempest, Michelham Priory House & Gardens, 27 June
Taking place on the stunning lawns at Michelham Priory House, this production of Shakespeare’s comedy The Tempest by the touring theatre company This Is My Theatre is not one to miss!
This is an outdoor production, so please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, and dress for the weather. The show will go on come rain or shine, so bring a poncho if the weather isn’t kind.
