Loss Foundation Walk and Talk, Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, 3 November, 11am
The Loss Foundation will be hosting an informal walk and talk event around Sovereign Harbour specifically for people who have lost a loved one to cancer.
The walk is open to any adult who has had a loved one die from cancer. The aim is to give people the opportunity to meet and talk with others who have experienced a similar loss. Spaces are limited so please register if you would like to attend.
Crowborough Fireworks Display, Goldsmiths Recreation Ground, 5 November, 7pm
Every year the Crowborough Firework Display has a theme to music. This year the theme is A Night at the Movies!
Starting from 7pm, there will be hot food and drinks to enjoy before the lightning of the beacon at 7.15pm followed by the fireworks display at 7:30pm. The event is free, but charity donations are welcome.
Christmas Calligraphy Workshops, Bateman’s, Burwash, 8 and 9 November, 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm
In this workshop, led by local artist Alina from Creative Feel Designs, you’ll be taught how to use calligraphy and watercolours to create your own Christmas cards in the cozy surroundings of Bateman’s House Kitchen.

Robertsbridge Bonfire Night, Robertsbridge, 16 November
The Sussex bonfire season goes out with a bang with the Robertsbridge Bonfire and Torchlight Procession.
The procession ends at the recreation ground where the enormous bonfire will be lit, followed by the spectacular firework display. Don’t leave until you’ve watched the explosion of this year’s effigy!
