There’s a care role for you in East Sussex

Be a Support Worker Apprentice in the Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) Team

The JCR team helps people to:
– remain in their own homes and maximise their independence
– avoid going into hospital unnecessarily
– become independent as soon as possible after a stay in hospital

A support worker would:
– visit clients in their own home to help them regain their independence
– work with the therapy team to help provide care, rehabilitation, and exercise programmes
– assist with personal care activities e.g., washing, dressing, meal preparation

If you apply to be a Support Worker Apprentice before the end of the year, you’ll be eligible for £3,000 in performance payments.

Support people with their needs in the Learning Disability Services Team

We have a variety of rewarding job opportunities working with people with learning disabilities. There are vacancies in our supported living, community support, respite and day services teams.

A support worker would provide practical support including:
– assistance with leisure activities like cooking or gardening
– help with personal care
– teaching new skills.
