As the BBC glitter-laden juggernaut of a show Strictly Come Dancing comes to an end, fans of the popular dancing show can still get their fix of glitz, glamour and dance with Eastbourne Theatres as 2016 features two brand new shows featuring some of the best loved stars.

Strictly Come Dancing

Anton du Beke has performed in every series of Strictly Come Dancing since its inception in 2004; 2015 has seen him survive the Blackpool round and he’s enjoyed a successful season with celebrity partner Katie Derham. Erin Boag, who has been Anton’s dance partner since 1997 and performed in ten series of Strictly, will once again join him in their brand new production: Just Gotta Dance at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne on Friday 12 February.

This all new show features sensational choreography, stunning costumes and orchestra performing timeless classics including: Night and Day, Lullaby of Broadway, Fever, Too Damn Hot, Downtown, Jealousy, Bye Bye Blackbird and New York New York.

Just Gotta Dance is completed with vocalist Lance Ellington, six world class ensemble dancers and Richard Balcombe, once again, leading the London Concert Orchestra, come and enjoy an evening of pure glamour and class.

Strictly favourites Vincent and Flavia return to the Congress Theatre once again, for a sizzling performance of an all new show The Last Tango from 19 to 23 April, which will be their last ever live theatre show. Vincent and Flavia have set the box office lines on fire in the past with sell-out shows; Midnight Tango and Dance til Dawn and demand is expected to be just as strong for this new show.

Twenty years of dancing together has seen them become Strictly Come Dancing favourites, world dance title-holders and stars in their own West End productions, but the nation’s best-loved Argentine Tango Champions are saying goodbye to the stage in this thrilling new, live performance. This show promises to be intimate, passionate and an explosive performance which will thrill audiences.
