Over 3,000 children from East Sussex primary schools will be taking part in a musical throughout December.

Every year the East Sussex Music Service works with the county’s primary schools to create a series of Great Big Sings. And this year’s show ‘Gritter’, introduces an eclectic mix of characters including Father Christmas and Tim the Snowman, along with the East Sussex Gritter drivers and their machines – all named by the pupils. Finally, the piece ends with three traditional nativity songs.
